Based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, The Wedding Cheese Cake Shop is an online cheese shop owned by FDL Cheese.

We are a family-owned business based in the UK, specialising in creating delicious and unique cheese wedding cakes. Our goal is to provide our customers with a unique and delightful experience by offering a wide range of cheese wedding cakes that are both delicious and visually stunning.

Our story started in 1950s in Italy, where 11-year-old Gino Albiniano learned how to make mozzarella cheese by hand. About 30 years later, Gino moved to the UK and started FDL Cheese, which manufactures mozzarella cheese.

Today FDL Cheese is run by current owners Victor (Gino’s son) and Phil (Gino’s Son-in-Law), who supply quality cheese and dairy to pizzerias, restaurants, delis, health stores and schools throughout the Midlands to this very day, with Paula and Mark who manage the cheese wedding cake business.

All our pre-made cheese wedding cakes are named after girls and women in our family.
